Labyrinth Training and Facilitating
Do you have a labyrinth that is seldom used, or you're not sure how to use it more effectively, expanding its use for wider and deeper participation? Would you like to start a labyrinth ministry?
Turning Point consultants can help you share the labyrinth as a mystical and practical resource and assist you in specific ways to develop community ministry around the guiding labyrinth.
Recently, the labyrinth has been reclaimed as a tool for walking meditation and decision-making or discernment . Today there are labyrinths at many modern hospitals and healthcare facilities, and an exponentially growing number are finding homes in public gardens and worship spaces. Labyrinths are non-denominational, non-sectarian, global spiritual tools belonging to the whole human race.
Labyrinths have been introduced in jails; they are used in cancer treatment; in school rooms with ADHD children; in Bethesda Naval Hospital with returning vets. They are walked by ordinary people everywhere in need of peace, in need of a change.
We have extensive experience in helping groups, congregations and organizations use the labyrinth to expand their network of healing into the wider community.
Leadership Development in Reconciliation Work
Do you believe that the work of the church and the people of God is reconciliation, but you don't know where to begin, or what it looks like?
We have trained people to be companions in the work of reconciliation in the places where they work and live as well as in their churches and civic organizations. We have worked with students, physicians, lawyers, clergy, mental health professionals, military personnel, housewives, teachers and business people. Whoever you are, we can tailor our services to your situation.
At the still point of the turning world. Neither flesh nor fleshless;

Community Building, Healing and Recovery
Do you need help in healing a community to confront brokenness or a tragedy? Crossing boundaries into new relationships is where we start. We help churches and organizations and civic re-imagine their work.
Turning Point consultants provide the structural healing of community following disasters. This spiritual recovery and healing work is essential in reconstruction efforts and provides the transformational matrix for the community’s redefinition. An example of this was after the shooting at the University of Alabama Huntsville when 3 professors were shot and killed by a fellow teacher.
